Originally conceived to facilitate sheet label printing, Post Haste soon emerged as a communications workstation. Use it to write letters, write email and store these communications as archives for future reference or use. The email section also includes group mail setup and the ability to assign any addressee to a group. This capability enables the user to easily compose and copy email to the clipboard for easy entry into their email package. The program includes this copy feature for AOL but is easily modified for any email service.In addition to email, Post Haste has "fast find" features which make it easy to locate an addressee for any purpose. Fast sorts also facilitate faster location by allowing the user to arrange records according to what field
contains the information they are looking for.
Post Haste gives the user the ability to print their label(s) in a particular position on label sheets complete with logo or return address. This eliminates unecessary waste of label sheets and allows users to reuse their label sheets to print one or more labels at a time. We would caution the user to allow sheets time to cool down before reuse and, on sheets that will be reused, select print locations close to the middle of the sheet for the first labels and move toward the top and bottom once middle area labels have been used. This practice will leave a sturdier leading edge for the printer to grab and may prevent or reduce the possibilty of paper jams.The label facility also provides an easy way to automatically print 80 up return address labels! Be aware that if the return address contains a graphic or logo, it may take some time to process 80 of these graphics when printing on laser printers.
You may need to adjust the brightness/contract on your monitor for use with this program.
